What Is A Personal Care Home?

A personal care home provides a place gm1.jpg (157337 bytes) to live for many elderly and mentally or physically disabled persons who are unable to care for themselves but who do not require 24 hour nursing services in a licensed nursing care facility.gm.jpg (159346 bytes)

In a personal care home, meals are prepared, linens provided and clothes laundered. Residents receive assistance with personal hygiene, with bathing and dressing, with medications, with making phone calls and with correspondence. They may also be offered assistance with obtaining transportation to appointments and help with their personal finances.

Who BENEFITS from a Personal Care Home?

gmb.jpg (159204 bytes)A Personal Care Home is a perfect place for those who do not need the level of care that a skilled nursing home provides but still have a need more supervision than living alone provides.

HOW DO WE SERVE OUR RESIDENTS?

We serve our residents with the Golden Rule in mind. With several scheduledgmc.jpg (145547 bytes) activities per week and around the clock medication personnel, we aim to make every resident’s stay a pleasurable one!

Our dietary supervisor is in charge of serving home cooked meals three times a day and tasty snacks between every meal. Coffee breaks are scheduled daily.gmd.jpg (145153 bytes)

Resident laundry is laundered and returned to each resident daily.
